The aim of Aalto Center for Entrepreneurship (ACE) is to commercialize research that originates in Aalto University. ACE is also the technology transfer office of Aalto University and operates in the field of tech transfer and manages Aalto’s intellectual property rights (IPR). We consider our job well done when a new Aalto University spin-off company is registered.
ACE offers its commercialization services for the whole Aalto community. Both researchers and students of Aalto University can get help to develop their inventions or business ideas further with our experts. The core services of ACE are evaluation of inventions & business ideas and managing and coaching of commercialization projects.
ACE has a team of 13 persons. All the areas of Aalto University are represented in the knowledge portfolio of our specialists. Every school has its own appointed Technology Transfer Manager. Furthermore we employ business developers specialized in the final steps of company formation before the registration of a startup company.
Aalto Center for Entrepreneurship is situated in Otaniemi, Espoo and is a part of Aalto University.
